The purpose of this book is simple - provide daily meditations from Diogenes the Cynic and Aristippus the Cyrenaic. These two figures encapsulate the best of Greek philosophy as a way of life. Although Diogenes and Aristippus approach philosophy from different angles, they are both on the same spectrum. They were seeking to challenge peoples' ideas about what constitutes the "good life" and to think hard about our ethical selves. The book is structured in a simple manner. It follows the form of a devotional in that there is a daily reading meant for reflection. In terms of size, I have compressed the information into the smallest book possible to keep the cost to a minimum and the portability to the maximum.
