After his wife's suicide, salesman Bunny Munro embarks on a road trip with his son, Bunny Jr. As they travel about southern England, Bunny leaves his son waiting in the car while he sells beauty products door-to-door. Soon, though, Bunny turns to sex, alcohol, and drugs to ease the pain of losing his wife instead of looking after his son.
