According to LitHub, Everyone on Book Twitter is recommending their favorite short story collections. My choice would be Roisín O’Donnell’s Wild Quiet, at least today.

@Cheri I hope you’ll like the stories. Among other things, they’re partly a reaction against the the inward-looking, parochial tradition in Irish short story writing. I didn’t feel that this always worked but in many of the stories it’s very successful.
