I’m launching a proposal for a new temperature scale. It’s called Odd. It has only three degrees: -1°O, (too cold), 0°O, (just right), and 1°O, (too hot). I’m expecting large support.🌡

@odd Might need to add support for "double too cold" (-2°C) and "double too hot" (2°C) as well. Then I'll be able to represent the overnight lows for the next three days in Odd.

@lmika That sounds good. I’ll implement that in the second draft.

@odd how do I convert 14c to Odd? I'm leaning to 0O.

@pcora Yes, that’s rounded to 0°O, but is probably more accurately -0.1°O.

@odd @pcora What about 37°C, which was the humidex-included temperature two days ago. 🥵

@pimoore That would probably be 2°O, as suggested by @lmika Hope you’ll get livable temperatures soon!

@odd Today should be a pleasant 0°O (21°C).

@odd hmmmm.... I'm living with what other women friends my age call "personal summer," so for me it's permanently 1°O. Constantly in search of A/C or a breeze. The cats love sitting with me, though.

@annahavron I had that for a brief moment too, yes, men do have them, but it was over quickly. I am overweight though, so I enjoy exactly 0°O, and are too hot for temperatures above. I haven’t got A/C, but fans, not die-hard fans though, (one fan did die a month ago).

@odd Reporting 0°O in town. Wind might be a little too strong (is there a new scale for that as well?) but, temperature wise, can’t complain.
