@jack Guilty. I guess I just haven't blogged for as much time as you have. My "so much" is yet to come :-)

But I agree with the sentiment of the post. A thing I have realized though is people mostly reach posts via direct references, very few browse around blogs. So I just keep it clean, simple. No fuss.

@amit That's true, and I love clean and simple. I'm mostly trying to talk myself out of overthinking things and to just keep posting.

@jack I’m fine with messiness too. I used to have trouble maintaining a blog until I discovered micro.blog and the Indieweb and the idea that a blog could take any form you wanted it to be. I see my site as a continual work-in-progress anyway and it’s never going to be tidy.

@jack reassuring post. I am not really sure I have any idea what my blog should be like. Hopefully it is an evolving mess.

@johnjohnston I think my scattered posts of blogs past are an irredeemable mess @jack

@cn I think we need another word for mess with less negative connotations @jack

@cn @johnjohnston amalgam.blog is available. I've sworn off buying more domains but that would be fitting :)

@jack @johnjohnston I too have pledged not to register domains, even though picturesof.cloud was available (and cheaper than amalgam.blog (at least for the first year))

@jack I know that amalgam is more than just something my cruel old dentist used for filling my teeth, but it used to be synonymous with that here in Norway at least. Not a bad name though…

@odd Ha! Well, sometimes when I read what I've written it can feel like a trip to the dentist, so I guess it could be fitting either way :)
