@amit Great post, I share your question! I found the book The Lies of Locke Lamora (and it's sequels) to be hysterical. People who try it after my recommendation are split into “I love it" and "I hate it" so it's not for everyone. Tons of profanity, but in very fun ways. It's a Fantasy series, and I found the premise and plot super exciting. But I am that kinda geek, lol. The audiobook performance is fantastic too. Let me know what you think of it, if you give it a go.
@amit yes that’s true. I mean I can’t even think of a book in the humor genre other than a book by a standup comedian (Steve Martin has at least one) but those are mostly autobiographical. Or the collection of skits or books about performers. Oh, my wife says David Sedaris is very funny. I haven’t read his work yet. I think he’s an essayist?
