@kevinmarks I think Flickr will listen to feedback on this. I believe their assumption based on their blog post was that free users would actively participate in whittling down to 1,000 photos (if the user cared at all). I will have to delete about 500 photos if I don’t go pro. I’ll want to decide which to delete. I’ll tend to favor keeping the ones with a lot of comments. Maybe Flickr could offer a couple of automated strategies people could pick with a single click for the transition.
