@petebrown I’m bearish long on Substack. For certain profitable niches I could see it working but it seems like the author will end up on a hamster wheel to grow and appease a fickle audience while continuing to write at a pace to justify the dues.

@agundy I'm bearish long about the written word tbh. A winner takes all form of nostalgia if I ever saw one. Indie Writers will need to work harder to package their words in multimedia forms if they wanna generate revenue imo
