@toddgrotenhuis It's a bit harder to do that with all the physical stuff I have, but I tend to do that with the digital inbox from time to time.

@Verso in this case we're talking a decade or more worth of digital photos from a Mac that will longer remain powered up. It's not an unsolvable problem, but it takes time...and dealing with Windows and Linux.

@PhoneBoy have you tried the outbox method? You put stuff you’re not sure you need in there for X days (I’ve often heard 30) and see if you go for it again or are clear to get rid of it

@PhoneBoy I have tried to implement what I saw referred to as The 20/20 Rule. “Will it cost me more than 20 minutes or $20 to replace?”

There’s a certain point where I wonder: why am I keeping this? So I get rid of it. Then, later, I wonder why I didn’t keep it. sigh
