@kaa For what it is worth, for many years, I was a Principal at schools where students often arrived from all around the world, often not speaking any English. Kids were almost always very accepting and the new students would be playing soccer (football) or basketball within minutes of going outside for recess. They always quickly learned to speak English, especially the swear words! I hope all goes well.

@Stevsmit thanks for the insight, good to hear the view from the other side ! So the school actually got back to us and he will be moving to a transition class with other kids learning the language first. Smaller class that can give him the necessary support. Lets see how it goes :).
