I declare autumn / fall. 🍂 It’s a bit early, I know, and not many leaves has actually fallen off the trees yet, but the air has got that feeling of letting summer go. 🍁

@odd The other day when I was taking Sasha out for her breakfast walk it felt like Spring here. Birds cheeping and twittering and chuckling, warm sun, fresh air.

@Miraz That’s uplifting! I love spring for that, but the pollen - not so much. I see beauty in all four of the seasons, but I have a special affection for the autumn.

@odd Same here. Except our trees have shed their leaves early, apparently due to the extreme heatwave. The air is definitely different though... today is the first day in months that I have worn thick socks indoors!

@SimonWoods I did the same today! Sunshine and dry weather can be nice for a while, but drought and lack of refreshing rain is not good. 🧦🧦

@odd I'm just hoping all the rain we've had (and more to come) has helped wash the pollen out of the air…

@Miraz Yes, rain helps a lot. It also makes the production of pollen increase, but net product, it’s beneficial to allergic people. Has your garden plants survived the winter by the way?

@odd Thanks for asking. I think most have. We've had quite a few good frosts and so much rain…
