@PhoneBoy Why do you have to use the WordPress editor? A bunch of people (including me!) post nearly everything to WordPress with the Micro.blog apps.

@PhoneBoy What desktop OS do you run? Right now we're iOS/Mac for native apps since that's my background. Hope to have more third-party options in the future, in addition to WordPress client apps.

@manton can you point me in the right direction to post to my WordPress site from micro.blog? I tried sidebar.js but nothing shows and I’d really like to just have micro.blog posts show up as actual WordPress posts.

@PhoneBoy When using a WordPress blog as your microblog, you can also use any desktop client that supports posting to WordPress, e.g. MarsEdit on the Mac. Obviously you get more complete Micro.blog abilities (e.g., reading) with a Micro.blog client vs a weblog client, but a weblog-posting app for whatever OS can keep you out of the WordPress editor when posting from that other OS.

@PhoneBoy Yeah, not being able to install software really ties your hands, doesn't it :-(

@Mike\_McArthur If you're looking to copy Micro.blog-hosted posts to WordPress, check out this plugin from @michal. You can also post directly to WordPress in the iOS/Mac apps. More documentation coming soon.

@manton Thank you! That plugin looks exactly like what I need. I will give it a whirl today.
