@becky thank you for sharing this, it’s painful to watch good apps struggle for sales, to find the right business strategy. But for an app in a crowded catergory, I guess the best spread is via word of mouth. Add freemium to the mix, I think you should get more impressions and converts.

@timeuser I hadn’t considered freemium until now, but it’s starting to sound like a pretty good idea. Sorry to hear you’re having the same problems!

@becky I’m in the same place. Feedback is positive when I get it. It’s so hard to get anyone to look at all in the first place. Search ads have worked slightly better for me. Post on reddit Apple sub was worth doing. Considered freemium? Good luck!
