@manton It's truly disheartening for anyone who loves the industry to see animated films always being considered second class. This art form has the power to transcend physical reality, yet it is often treated as child's play. Spider-man Across The Spider Verse did everything right, as much as a great film could do, and yet it was recognized as merely 'a hero animation.' The movie got me right away in the first scene; it became one of my favorite opening scenes ever. And the fact that they didn't get nominated for anything that made all that possible really gutted my soul. Oppenheimer, on the other hand, received all the nominations, some didn’t even deserve as much as other candidates, just because it's Nolan's film.
