Most users probably don’t use Micro.blog notes as much as I do, but still feels great to ship this latest bug fix update for Mac with much faster notes sync. The clunkiness had been bugging me for a while even though I use it all the time.
@manton notes is an eternal bug bear for me - having 🍎Notes, Drafts, Obsidian not to mention even more buried in apps like 1Password, Contacts and even Calendar for goodness sake. So (so far?) I have resisted Micro.Blog’s - but an idea you might want to borrow From Finalist … He just released a TestFlight beta where he can expose one of more of your Markdown Folders inside his app.
Not sure yet that I will stick with Finalist - but this approach makes life very portable because I have many Markdown folders - one of which is specifically available to Finalist, Obsidian, iAWriter and Claude … that last one so every now and then - it runs and cleans up what is going on in terms of consistency and pulls out action points, dates etc - not running smoothly - yet - but definitely feeling it.
@manton notes would be more useful to me if it could be used as a place for drafts. It would be beneficial I f a note had the ability be promoted/moved out of notes to a post in one of my sites, not just “a private note that has been shared”
