@raretrack great story - but separately pinging re Mastodon ... I signed up a looooong time ago - and never really got into it .... I used to be on mastodon.network - which doesn’t seem to exist anymore ... is there a place to verify that ... wondering if it changed its name >>> i do remember it got innundated with Japanese characters - which is partly what made me give up
