If you have an apple watch do you have a wifi or cellular? If you have wifi only, do you miss not having the cellular? If you have a cellular one, when do you use the cellular part?

@klandwehr I have a cellular one - but haven’t yet enabled the cellular — 6 months later!

@klandwehr @JohnPhilpin Same here. I don't like buying hardware that's missing things I can't add later if I want to, so I have cellular. I've been thinking about activating it recently, but haven't yet.

@klandwehr I have WiFi. I’m tempted to get cellular for my next watch, so that I can go for a walk without anything in my pockets, or as backup when my phone battery dies. I’m not sure the cost is worth it, though.

@klandwehr For me it would more than double my monthly cell phone bill, because my current plan doesn’t support it.

I have no such excuse. My iPad is on cellular - but it is reaching an age where it needs to be upgraded. As it is, it tends to be used just in the house and WiFi would be sufficient.

My plan price would not change if I removed the iPad and added TWO watches.

Filed in the bucket of ‘need to do’ ... save money or improve connectivity.
