@JustGoodMusic I tried sending a webmention from my blog and discovered that the author of the article disabled pingbacks on the post, so here's my comment.
A thought comes to mind after reading something written by @BestofTimes. The power of music is complex.
Listening to a certain song again, even if you’ve never liked it, is surely worth it when it evokes fond memories from your past – so much so, you just might grow to appreciate the song itself and what it meant to someone you love and miss.
@BestofTimes Just looked and see that your "Blown Away" post also has allow pingbacks unchecked, so maybe MarsEdit does that - I'm not sure. You could change the setting in the dashboard by going to Posts and editing the post or if you like, I can do it for you (if you want me to). Sorry, I just assumed you chose to disable them.
@BestofTimes btw - if we enable pingbacks now, it will only apply to new replies made from Micro Blog or webmentions from elsewhere. What you see now in this conversation still won't show up with the post, but moving forward, they will. Let me know if you want me to change the settings on your existing posts.
@BestofTimes @joejenett for a minute there I was wondering if the default was no ping backs - but form what I can see this post was the exception. I switched them back on - a random un checking of pingback check box is possible in Mars Edit.
