@JohnPhilpin I think the original was made before we enabled webmentions - maybe I’m mistaken.

@joejenett hmmm - will be hitting the road in a minute - some questions / thoughts >>>

if I reply as justgoodmusic here on micro blog - should that appear as a comment on the site?

part of my challenge is having two accounts on the JGM blog - sometimes I get confused - so might look to reduce back to one

a css fix - noting to self … when you reply to the two check boxes are described in white - making close to impossible to read

i still need to work through the reply from another blog hack - adding to todo list.

@JohnPhilpin Answer to first question - it should as long as it's a reply to a micro blog post which originally came about from publishing the same post on the site.

RE: previously where I merntioned that I may have been mistaken - I need to investigate that a little more. Replies to JGM mb posts which originally came about from publishing a post to the blog will publish as comments to the blog post, but new micro blog posts linking to a post on the blog (which are not replies via mb) should come in as mentions instead of replies (received the same as posts from other blogs). I should have clarified that earlier.

Hit the road Jack...

@JohnPhilpin To clarify - the JGM micro blog post that appeared after the Earth article was published (it just has the article title and a link to the article) is the mb post you have to reply to for it to show up as a comment on the blog post. To be honest, not totally sure if doing that from your JGM account will work - I think it should from either account. Nothing to lose by testing it...
