@JohnPhilpin I didn't know Hosted WP even allowed javascript in their widgets, though I only have free sites. Has your site been updated? I think there was a recent update.

@simonwoods its my own WP site running at my own domain … it has worked fine for a year - and when I just tried to drop it on to my sounds site - it failed - so went to this site to check and it is not working there either ... maybe a V5 update problem? @manton any ideas?

@JohnPhilpin @simonwoods I'm not aware of any problems, but I haven't tested Sidebar.js on WordPress 5 yet either. I'll experiment with it. Is it just not working, or failing in some other way?

@manton They have just had their first dot release for 5 and some javascript updates are included so maybe it's that?

@JohnPhilpin From the error console:

Have you tried altering the URL of sidebar.js to use https on sites where it is failing? // @simonwoods @manton

@smokey @JohnPhilpin Good catch, thanks! Yes, it should be https. I'll update the help for this.
