@manton was it good? Brandon Sanderson is who inspired James Islington to write a book. Islington is the author of The Licanius Trilogy, of which I'm reading the third book right now. I've so far enjoyed Islington's books and was planning on picking up some Sanderson novels in the future.

@Dino It was great. I’m new to Sanderson but loving this series. I’ll have to check out Islington too, thanks!

@Dino You can do nothing wrong with Sanderson – as long as you like long books. His novels are as long as other authors books and his books are even longer ;-)

@V_ @manton Now I understand why the Licanius Trilogy books are so long -- Sanderson writes that way too. The third book in the Licanuis Trilogy is thicker than the LoTR 50th Anniversay Edition book (which is 3 books in 1).

Thanks guys. I'll definitely check out Sanderson's books.
