@martinfeld thanks!

Just curious, is the "Feld Notes" on your profile photo a play on the "Field Notes" brand of notebooks?

@Dino Yes, it is! The name was suggested by a friend online and it also alludes generally to the fact of doing qualitative research. (I go into this a bit more on my Feld Notes podcast and my separate blog for lengthier writing, Lounge Ruminator.) Essentially, I had two site names that I liked and decided to go with both in different places. Thanks for asking! 😀

@Dino If you ever have questions, short ones can go to @help, more complex ones to help@micro.blog. Plus the helpful denizens of the Micro.blog frequently answer questions.

@Dino It is! I’m just a recent member, but everyone is just nice, and it has helped me a lot coping with the strangeness of the pandemic while becoming a parent at the same time. It’s the first place I visit in the morning, and the last before turning in for the night. People are all over the world, so there’s always something nice to read and learn.
