Ten years ago today, I posted my first article on my blog Cascadia Inspired! Since then I’ve published over 300 posts about nature, creativity and productivity. My intention for it has shifted over the years but it’s brought me joy in all its forms.

@tracydurnell My mountain is Mt. Pilchuck. Not that large, but easy to see. Growing up, we had a cabin not far from the base of that mountain. The whole Robe Valley feels like home ground.

@Pilchuck appropriate for your username 😁 I don't feel like any one mountain is mine still, too many to choose from here! Just generally love the Cascades. My husband's a river guy so I've kind of adopted his river too at this point, Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie 😊

@tracydurnell I’m not so much of a mountain man, although I’ve walked mountains above the tree line even. But my mountain is more of a hill. It’s called Tønsåsen. Although I haven’t been there in a very long time, I have fond memories of it.

My river is the one I’ve fished in the most, the nearby Stjøra, (or Stjørdalselva).

@odd it looks like a lovely river! I think everyone's drawn to their own favorite part of nature, whether mountain or river or beach or valley 😊 Sometimes I think it's the forest I like even more than the mountain 😉

@odd @tracydurnell Vikings use boats to get around the mountains. 😉
