In this COVID-19 era, I’m acutely feeling this. My family is so close right now. Hugs from my 16 year old are common, time together is wonderful, and walks as a family in my neighborhood are a new norm. The distance I feel from my friends is the tough other side of that coin.

@rexbarrett 1: this is encouraging to read. 2. What are you using to make these highlighted quotes? Love the look and functionality.

@jonrjordan I use Readwise. Love it. Pulls in highlights from Kindle, Instapaler, Pocket, etc. Then cycles through highlights daily. Helps me remember my books so much better. This link gets us each a free month. readwise.io/i/rex4

@rexbarrett @jonrjordan seconded. Love Readwise. Can even take the quotes you add from physical books, articles, etc.

@rexbarrett Thanks for the tip. I’ve installed Readwise, but now I wish I hadn't highlighted the particularly awful things in bad books I’ve read.

@ReaderJohn Readwise let’s you exclude books. I went through and muted all fiction (I highlight a character’s first appearance to help me remember how they entered the story) and constantly remove quotes I don’t want to see again. Curating a great list.

@ChrisJWilson Nice!

@rexbarrett I had already discovered viewing on the web and deleting quotes. Deleting whole books will be nice.
