@jack I find that I’m doing the same on Twitter, and it feels… I dunno, better.
@jack It’s fascinating to me how making it a bit more challenging to like something makes the interaction work better.
@jack I like the favouriting option because it creates a collection of photographs I find inspiration from, or just enjoy. I agree adding comments is a more personal and engaging option though.
@BestofTimes @jack It's that old chestnut again of what you use the favourite option for. I use it mainly as a bookmark for a post, but if I like a post I will reply with a short comment. It would be nice if Micro.blog allowed named collections of favourites.
@BestofTimes It's interesting that I don't use Favorites as a personal bookmarking tool on Flickr. I've always used them as a way to acknowledge photos. I've recently started using galleries for collecting instead.
