@AndyNicolaides I really like this idea. It also is going to make the scream for custom domains even louder. But, he’s right with email being the self-publishing form it is.

@AndyNicolaides sounds interesting but it strikes me a bit like some of these things like telegram posts? Or whatever that’s called. I suspect that the benefit of easy publishing and not thinking about the theme/name …then leads to missing those features. But I may be wrong.

@AndyNicolaides I'm looking forward to watching where this Hey blogging experiment goes. Hope they update the URLs before launch to use subdomains and domain names, though. (We should probably add email-to-blog as a feature here, too.)

@manton Yeah it's an interesting approach, for sure. I'd certainly welcome an email to blog feature as part of micro.blog. Yeah it certainly seems barebones, and lacking the customisation options of M.b, of course, but that may be just what a certain subset of potential bloggers may be after.

@ChrisJWilson Yeah, I know what you mean. Something like that may be a bit TOO barebones and would lend itself to hyper-micro posts, too closer to Twitter.

@sku_b I think the custom domains are coming, though they've been saying that for some time. I think Hey for Work seemed to take up much of their dev availability until recently. It's certainly an interesting idea as you say.

@manton I would support this feature.
